Passport Photos
General Passport Info
You CANNOT wear white shirts, glasses, hats, large bulky earrings, or show any type of hair clips. All passport photos are sized to the biometric measurements with a closed mouth, neutral expression (slight smirks are ok for USA photos) and your hair has to be away from your eyes and face.
Walk-in Passport Photos
No appointment needed. Passport photos are a walk-in service 7 days a week. You will walk out with your US passport size photos in 10 to 15 minutes (30 minutes for international sized photos). Last passport photos are taken at 5:15pm every day. If taken after that time, you may need to pickup prints in the morning.
US Passports and Visas
Montclair Photo takes 2x2 passport photos. You only need one photo for your application. We give you 3 photos just in case you need some for your travel visa photos. $15.99 for a set of 3. Additional sets are $9.99. Use this link for more info or to download your passport application forms. If you need your passport within 2 weeks you must make an appointment at the San Francisco Passport Agency.
Canadian Passports
Montclair Photo specializes in 50mm x 70mm Canadian passport and citizenships photos. Canada has 5 different sizes for photos so be very specific to what you are applying for. We also do the 35x45mm residency size photos. Canada has very strict rules and a very high rejection rate. You can trust us - we've been doing Canadian passports for over 10 years. Be prepared to give us your name and date of birth for the back printing if the photo type requires it. $32.99
International Passports
Montclair Photo can make any size passport photos for any country. We have all passport specs programmed in our machine. You can bring in your country's passport specifications too and we will print your passport pictures to those specs. We do lots of 35mm x 45mm passport photos for Germany, England, Australia, an all other EU countries. We can even do odd size Chinese Visa photos that are 33x48mm. $28.99
Digital Passport Photos
Montclair Photo can size photos to any specifications when a digital version is needed for online uploading.
Infant Photos
Yes we do... Please come in when the infant will be awake because the eyes need to be open. No light colored clothing.

Montclair Photo does walk-in passport photos for any country. We print all passport photos on real chemically processed photo paper. We take a few photos and you can ask to select your photo. We do not process applications or make the passport cards or books. That is only done through the government agency.
Passport photos are taken between 9:30 and 5:15 every day for print or digital versions.
